Father's Day Gift Guide (using essential oils)

June 11, 2018

Instead of bulking up his sock drawer or tie collection, give the men in your life a thoughtful essential oil gift! Here are 5 suggestions for every personality.

The Active Dad:

Whether working in the yard or working out in the gym, this dad is always on the go. He enjoys sporting an active lifestyle, but sometimes may over-do it in his zest for a challenge.  Offer some Pan Away to keep this guy feeling limber and to soothe any aches and pains from the back 9 or the back yard!

The road warrior:

This dad travels a ton- maybe he has a long commute to work, or perhaps his office is business class on a plane, making calls across States and hauling suitcases instead of soccer bags. All this travel takes a toll on the body, and maybe he got the sneezy seat partner on the last leg of his trip home. Create a survival kit that can easily slip into his toiletries case with the Thieves line. Whether he favors the Spray, Sanitizer, mouthwash, or even throat lozenges, the Thieves blend will boost his immune system to be sure that he's not bringing home any unwanted baggage.

The Brainiac:

He wasn't selected to be a contestant on Jeopardy yet, but this dad has brains to spare. He's always researching or maybe even teaching today's youth. All of that knowledge can be hard to turn off at night to get restful sleep, so give this dad a little Peace & Calming.

The Metro Man:

Some dads take such pride in their pamper and prep that time in front of the mirror is a bit longer! Swap out some of his staples with DIY alternatives like beard oil, body wash, or even an under eye serum. Popular manly scents can be achieved with Cedarwood, Idaho Blue Spruce, or Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood. We've got some great recipes over on our Pinterest boards.

The Grill master:

This dad loves to tinker in the garage on projects and is always ready to grill up a feast on his favorite cooking appliance, his BBQ grill! Replace the metal grill scraper with a wooden alternative and then arm him with some vitality oils to take his favorite marinades up a notch. Basil Vitality, Lemon Vitality, or Rosemary Vitality are all great additions to a simple kabob recipe or to baste over veggies. Note that not all essential oils are considered safe for internal use. We recommend using our vitality oils to ensure you're ingesting only the best quality oils out there.

Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing dads out there!! Wishing you an amazing day with all of your favorite things.
